Repost AI is a Chrome extension that helps you turn web page content into social media posts using AI. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
When you click "Generate Posts", the extension sends the current page's title and text content to our API server. This data is processed only to generate post suggestions, not stored on our servers, not shared with any third parties, and discarded immediately after generating results.
A randomly generated UUID is stored locally in your browser to enforce daily usage limits. This ID is not linked to your identity, never leaves your device except for rate limiting, and cannot be used to identify you personally.
We collect anonymous, aggregated statistics such as total number of generations per day, platform and tone preferences, and number of unique daily users counted by anonymous extension IDs. No personal information, browsing history, or page URLs are collected or stored.
We use Groq API to generate AI-powered post suggestions. The page content you choose to process is sent to Groq's servers for text generation.
All extension settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. Our API server does not maintain any persistent database of user data. No cookies are used.
Since we don't collect personal data, there is typically no personal data to access, modify, or delete. You can uninstall the extension at any time to remove all locally stored data.
